(Keypads & remote not included). The Russound CAS44 multi-room audio system lets you listen to your favorite tunes all over your house.

Use this controller/amplifier to create a CAS44 system or to expand your current system into as many as four additional listening rooms. Add compatible Russound keypads in each of your listening areas to select your music source, control playback, and adjust volume. The Russound CAS44 Multiroom Audio Controller-Amplifier distributes four stereo sources to four zones. Two controllers can be linked together to support a total of eight zones. Each zone has its own built-in stereo amplifier that provides 20 watts RMS per channel.

The system also provides independent control of bass, treble, balance. Loudness and volume from the keypad in each zone. For zone control, the CAS44 system offers a choice of. Using the optional SA-ZX3 Keypad Splitter allows multiple keypads in each zone. For ease of installation and simplicity of use, the CAS44 controller does not require any programming.

All source commands reside in the programmable CAS-RC System Remote Control (not included). The CAS44 is a four-source, four-zone audio distribution and control system with four 20W/Ch stereo amplifiers, for a total of 8 channels of amplification.

It powered right up, and using our test keypad that is not included, we were able to select the source with the amp pumping out a clear, distortion-free audio from all channels with no hum or buzz! All features work correctly and all inputs and outputs have been confirmed working.
