Optimized for the real-world audiophile who demands flexibility and sound quality at an affordable price, the RC-1070 preamplifier delivers an extraordinary level of satisfaction. Featuring traditional Rotel engineering prowess, this unit features a power supply based on a custom-made toroidal transformer. The RC-1070 features six line-level inputs in addition to a phono input for moving magnet cartridges.

A convenient contour control allows easy and repeatable timbre adjustments. With two sets of main outputs, a 12 volt "trigger " jack, and a Rotel-system remote control for both the pre-amplifier and a companion Rotel CD, tuner, or DVD player, the RC-1070 brings the flexibility and sound quality of Rotel separates within easy reach. This is a counter-top unit that weighs in at 12 lbs and measures.

17 1/8" x 3 5/8" x 13 1/8. This unique amp is in excellent condition with some signs of use! Aside from a few scuffs & discoloration to the lid and handles, the only thing worth mentioning is some light scuffs to the front panel that are hard to make out in the pics. The pictured AC cord is included. Through the front panel, the remote, which is not included, is needed to access some functions. Please inspect all the pictures thoroughly for actual condition. Our tech carefully inspected and thoroughly cleaned all pots and selector switches.

While it was open all caps were checked for bloating or leakage and the PC boards were inspected with all questionable PC joints re-flowed. Once serviced, this amp was set up on our test bench and it pumped out clear, distortion-free audio from both outputs with no hum or buzz. The manual has gone missing.
