The Avantone Pro CLA-200 Studio Reference Amplifier was designed to be paired with the company's CLA-10 studio monitors - however, it can be used with just about any demanding speaker load. Very low distortion, reliable performance under heavy professional use, and a transparent, open sound make the CLA-200 a solid choice for passive nearfield monitoring in discerning studios requiring high power output with no fan noise.

The conservatively rated CLA-200 delivers over 200 watts into 8 ohms and can run at one-third power without thermal fault. A classically designed Class AB amplifier, Avantone builds the CLA-200 the old-school way, with no-compromise components in a rugged 2U convection-cooled chassis that visually complements the CLA-10 Studio Reference Monitors. Of course, the CLA-200 can be used with any passive studio monitors that require serious dynamic range.

Avantone exercised meticulous care to create an amplifier in the traditional studio style, with generous VU meters, high-grade Japanese components, and a beefy toroidal transformer linear power supply. No fan noise - ideal for control room installation. Meticulously designed into a standard 2U rackmount chassis, this amp can generate over 200 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load, making it perfect for medium-to-large speakers in a studio control room environment.
